Nice work! Besides some current favorites, there are several here that I've missed, even when I was trying to keep my eye "below the top 50" for Biblical Studies Carnival 51. I'll be checking them out.

(By the way, if anyone doubts that there's a systemic patriarchy that seeks to demean women's contributions to discourse and force women into prescribed, simplistic male-created roles? The Captcha for my comment to this post is, "teases." I mean, come on, already.)

Welcome Brooke! Ugh, whata Captcha.

For some reason I didn't find this list until now, but 6 months late, I thought I should let you know that it's actually Ashleigh & Jeremiah Bailey at Walking Towards Jerusalem. I've been a Bailey for nearly a year now and was one during the first quarter of 2010. Just for clarity's sake, I thought I'd mention it. :o)

I was excited to make your list, and I'm equally excited to get to know some other female bloggers!

Welcome here, Ashleigh. Thanks for noting the correction; the change has been made. Thanks for blogging and for your excitement!
