Michael Pakaluk reminds us today that Shaquille O'Neal wants to be known as Aristotle because of his "big mind."
Since Shaq said that back in 2000, what has his big mind been thinking? Well, he has been thoughtful enough to want to help kids (despite what Kate Harding says). And his wife Shaunie does seem to know his thinking well enough to petition against his filing for divorce, a split which won't help their four children and two step kids one little bit (despite the doubtful dirt Paula Froelich is throwing at his reputation).
I do think that Ms. Kil Ja Kim has a bigger mind (less "riddled with racial-sexual anxiety") than either Aristotle or Shaq.
