Photo gallery please of female heads of churches. Since Margot Kässmann stepped down there are by my reckoning still fewer than can be counted on the fingers of two hands.
Of course it's Islam that is the religion that is anti women isn't it not Christianity??

RJS (rjs4mail[at]att.net) has a post up this morning entitled, "Why So Few?" which explores research on this question by the AAUW (formerly American Association of University Women, "Since 1881... the nation's leading voice promoting education and equity for women and girls"). The AAUW's published study is entitled "Why So Few? Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics." Some compelling answers offered!
